As a proud sponsor of Austoberfest, Austin’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration, we will be there playing games, giving out prizes and drinking lots of beer. The event will include over a dozen of Central Texas’ best-known meat shops, BBQ joints and restaurants, plus plenty of bier tasting and bowling all benefiting Foodways Texas, an organization devoted to preserving and celebrating diverse food cultures in Texas. Just like all the best Oktoberfest celebrations, you will smell the sausage a mile away. Once you step through the gates, you’ll find sausage vendors and local bier vendors all around. Minor Mishap, a 27 piece marching band, will kick off the event along with a keg tapping by the Austin Saegerrunde Maenerchor. Throughout the day, 2,000+ lederhosen/dirndl wearing Austinites will be singing along with Brave Combo and eating as much sausage as their German Texan stomachs will allow! Guest will be able to bowl in Austin’s oldest bowling alleys and participate in contests on our Stein Holding Stage.
